Tarynne Hoover

Tarynne Hoover earned her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of British Columbia in 1996.  She was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1997.

Tarynne has practiced in the Tri-Cities since joining the Port Coquitlam family law firm Smyth & Company in 1999.  The firm later became Smyth Hoover Sandhu and moved to Port Moody. Since July 2021, she has practiced in Coquitlam with Drysdale Bacon McStravick LLP.

Since 1997, Tarynne’s focus has been on family law. She negotiates or mediates family law disputes and also litigates matters in the Supreme and Provincial Courts when appropriate. Tarynne has conducted cases at all levels of court in British Columbia, including the Court of Appeal.
